Many students across the globe took part in her #FridaysforFuture strike, skipping the school day on Friday to protest against the effects of climate change. Climate campaigners from around the globe coordinated the inaugural Global Strike for Climate in 2019. It was a huge accomplishment. 1.6 million people across 125 countries participated.
